HR Management x holistic health
I’m a licensed naturopath and health management graduate (B.A.), based in Berlin, with a focus on women’s health, hormones, gut health, and the nervous system.
Since 2019, I’ve also worked in HR, across startups, NGOs, and mid-sized companies. So I understand workplace health not just as a practitioner but from the inside, and I tailor each workshop to your company’s needs.
I know from experience how hard it can be to understand your own body when no one takes the time to explain it. That’s what I do now, because cycles, hormones, and digestion are part of everyday life and shouldn’t be taboo at work.

Frequently asked questions about workshops
Who are the workshops for?
These scenarios come up a lot in the companies I work with:
- You have people on your team who are exhausted and sense something’s off, but don’t know where to start
- You want to help your employees better understand their bodies and their health
- You want to build openness and trust in the team through conversation about things that don’t usually get talked about day to day
You decide whether the workshops are open to everyone or held as FLINTA-only sessions, meaning only for women, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender people.
What does a workshop cost?
It depends on group size, format (online or in person), and whether you book a single workshop or a series. Send me a quick note about what you have in mind and I’ll put together an individual quote.
How long is a workshop?
Usually 60 to 90 minutes, including time for questions and discussion. Other formats are available on request.
Is the workshop online or in person?
Either works. For groups of up to around 20 people, I keep it interactive, with discussion and a Q&A; larger groups get a talk with slides.
How do you handle different lived experiences within a team?
Trauma-sensitive work matters to me, and I welcome all sexual orientations and relationship structures. FLINTA people are always considered, and I use gender-neutral language wherever possible. I can run workshops in German or English.
Is any prior knowledge needed?
No. The workshops are built to make sense from scratch, whether or not your team has explored these topics before.
How do I book a workshop for my team?
Send me a short email with the “Request a workshop” button or at workshops@kyra-volkenborn.com: topic, rough group size, and preferred time frame. I’ll come back to you with a proposal.
